WARMINGTON: Folks are free to pray, but should that mean shutting down Yonge?

67% Informative
A mass prayer occurred Tuesday at about 7:30 p.m. at Yonge and Bloor Sts . in Toronto .
In Canada , people are free to pray as part of any faith they choose and wherever they choose.
The praying protesters outside of the Israeli Consulate drew criticism from a woman who said she lives there.
Police were on the scene, but took no action.
“While we work to reduce the impact on daily life, some degree of patience and understanding is often required.” But according to the Documenting Reality account on the social-media site X, there were ambulances re-routed from Yonge as a result of this protest. The people inside those ambulances were required to be patient as paramedics were forced to take a detour. Before someone dies, it might be a good idea for a city, so strict on people who park illegally but so lenient on those who actually shut down streets, to pray on this..
