Calgary council is set to vote on authorizing $28 million of municipal reserve funds to be used to offset an anticipated police budget shortfall caused by provincial restrictions on photo radar use.
The one -time recovery from the city’s Fiscal Stability Reserve fund would serve to offset lost fine revenue, according to a report prepared by city officials.
