Grandiose vision aims to bring thousands of new homes to Tsuut'ina Nation

Taza Park aims to accommodate up to 12,000 residents on Nation-owned land near the Grey Eagle Casino and Event Centre.

The development will be just south of Glenmore Trail S. and east of Tsuut’ina Trail , which is the portion of the southwest ring road that passes through the Nation’s territory.

Home sales will launch May 24 , with construction possibly starting in June .

The full build out is on a 15- to 20-year timeline.

The entire Taza development portfolio will eventually encompass 1,200 acres spread across three urban villages.

Existing commercial tenants within Taza Park include Tsuut’ina Gas , Metro Ford , Big 4 Motors and a newly opened Volkswagen dealership.

The future community’s proximity to Mount Royal University may offer an opportunity to support much-needed off-campus housing for students.
