China slapped an additional 15% import tax on American farm products, including pork, poultry, beef and soy beans.

China is the largest overseas market for many US farm products.

The U.S. exported nearly $13 billion worth of soybeans to China alone and another 1 1/2 billion in beef.

So we should point out over the weekend , the president's tariffs are in the big endorsement from a former critic, the head of the United Auto Workers Union , saying that tariffs are a good thing because it's going to help boost American manufacturing.
