Master the Perfect Free Kick – How to Bend a Soccer Ball
51% Informative
Today we got bending the video and I'm pretty sure a lot of you guys have asked for, and it's one that you're definitely going to need because it's essential in the games with the inside, with the outside of the foot.
We're going to talk a little about free kicks, how to get the proper whip on your shot, and I got a guy who's been scoring free kicks for my club all the time. He's going to show you guys how I do it and some of the most popular ways to bend the ball.
Robert and I have different styles, but the same idea. When he strikes the ball, he hits it pretty much in the middle of his foot, but he of course uses his hip to create the bend and that's what gets it into the goal.
Notice that when we bend the ball far post, we keep our hips more open. We don't swing across because we want the ball to bend out wide and then come back all right. All right and if you're taking a free kick, maybe we'll talk about those in another video.
