The house is in the Karumbin Valley , near the border of Queensland and NSW in Australia in Australia .

It's situated in theKarumbin Eco Village , which is an international, award-winning, sustainable community.

We wanted to create a sustainable and functional but beautiful home that was full of light and air.

We chose to have old drawers in the kitchen rather than cupboards.

We also have a beautiful Blackwood shelf next to the fridge nook for glasses and crockery.

Behind the main sleeping area is our child's room and it was actually something that we added mid build.

We don't have any walls dividing the main bedroom from the rest of the living space.

Jameson and Jemison designed the home with a mandate of efficiency and not compromise.

The kitchen is really like heart of the home and sleeping.

The clothesline is also made from repurposed stainless steel balustrade wire.
