Case involves one of the most serious offenders yet to have delayed removal from Britain by launching challenges under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR ) The criminal was part of a five -man gang that took the life of an innocent man in an 'unprovoked attack' outside a south London nightclub.
Immigration judges have granted the Jamaican -born killer anonymity and he can be identified only as 'AR', despite having been named in Crown court where he was jailed for 20 years in July 2012 .
AR claimed he would be at risk if he was sent to Jamaica and that it would harm his right to a 'private and family life' under Article 8 of the ECHR .
