US Treasury secretary says economy will have to be re-privatized

Trump is inheriting a Biden economic mess, a Biden inflation mess.

Scott Besant : We've got to keep the accelerator down, get the tax cuts done as fast as possible.

We're going to have to re privatize the economy. We can't have a government bloated economy, OK, which is so lopsided. We have to have a resurgence of free markets. We need to go back to free market. And the sooner we get there, the better off to be that growth will cover at least the short run.

Secretary Besant says bond prices have gone up on the 10 year and yields have come down in the last four or five weeks .

He says the bond market is starting to understand the power of what we are doing here in terms of cutting waste, fraud and abuse in the government.

It is possible that this reciprocal trade policy that Mister Trump is talking about, it's going into place soon, he says.

Scott Besant was the lead on the deal for President Zelensky and Ukraine .

Besant says the deal is complete and the Ukrainian government has approved it.

It is a deal on strategic minerals, oil and gas and infrastructure assets.

It shows the American people that there is upside here for them, that we have not squandered the money.
