Jacqui Stevenson , who reported abuse to U.S. Center for SafeSport investigator Jason Krasley , was arrested for sex crimes.
She worries that the center may reopen her case and give the man she accused, who still coaches kids, a chance of having wrongdoing wiped off his record.
The center said it asked for a third -party audit to ensure fair and proper handling of cases.
Jacqui Stevenson turned in to SafeSport nearly 20 years after she came under influence of the same coach she would turn in to the center.
She said the interactions between her and the coach involved marijuana , alcohol, late-night parties and kissing.
The swim club fired the coach, sparking his defenders to retaliate by starting a petition to have Stevenson removed from the board.
