This Plant-Based Compound Could Be a Powerful New Weapon Against Deadly Brain Cancer

87% Informative
Researchers in Los Angeles have developed a way to force glioblastoma cells into a harmless, non-dividing state.
They combined radiation therapy with forskolin, a natural product derived from a plant related to mint, to force cells to become neuron-like or microglia-like.
In mice with a highly aggressive form of the cancer, the combination raised the median survival of 34 days with just radiation therapy to 48 days .
