Venho is calling for sweeping changes to close loopholes in election and party funding.
He also calls for tougher sanctions for those who break the rules.
Loans are also allowed, both from Finland and from abroad. Venho is in favour of banning foreign donations and loans to candidates in Finnish elections. "It's one of the few bans I actually support. I can't believe that someone from abroad would give money just out of good will. They expect something in return," he says.
