Is the reason I won the US Open in 1982 at Pebble Beach ? Is it because I was playing the worst golf for five years ? My iron game was scratching at best.

My dad wanted me to win the most the tournament. And the reason was it's the toughest tournament to win against the toughest field. And we always treated it like that. Pros, they'd go to the US Opens and they they they start complaining about how tough it was unfair.
