U.K. internet safety regulator Ofcom publishes new draft guidance on protecting women and girls online.
The new guidance aims to support in-scope firms to meet legal obligations to protect women from online threats like harassment and bullying, misogyny, and intimate image abuse.
Ofcom concedes this latest package of practice recommendations won’t become fully enforceable until 2027 or later.
