Americans push back at Trump with upside-down flag, other acts of resistance - National | Globalnews.ca

73% Informative
A group of unhappy Yosemite National Park Service employees unfurled an upside-down American flag at the top of the El Capitan summit in California .
The flag was hung in protest of President Donald Trumps administration’s layoffs in the park service.
In a move to clamp down on federal bureaucracy and spending, the Trump administration cut 1,000 jobs at the park Service earlier this month .
Some Trump appointees, like Robert F. Kennedy , instructed his employees to comply and reply to the email.
Others pushed back, marking a new level of chaos and confusion.
A flood of lawsuits, brought by Democratic attorneys general as well as unions and legal groups, have had some success in stalling some of the administration's actions.
