Nvidia says it has identified a problem with some of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 -series graphics cards.
Some cards shipped with fewer ROPs, AKA render/raster output units, which assist in the final pieces of the Turing rendering pipeline, were either missing or defective.
Nvidia promises manufacturers that it will replace the impacted cards.
The company said this led to around â4% worse performance.
