Scientists in California and China found that mice instinctively rush to help their ailing companions.

One mouse opens an unconscious partner's mouth and pulls its tongue aside to clear its airway.

This innate behaviour is due to the activation of beneficial hormone called oxytocin, also known as the 'love hormone' Mice spent more time tending to their unconscious partner if they were familiar with them.

Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees, Eye of the Tiger by Survivor and Wannabe by the Spice Girls all have 100 to 120 beats per minute.

Keep performing chest compressions until 999 crews arrive on the scene and take over.

If a defibrillator is found, turn it on and follow its instructions.
