Privacy commissioner launches third investigation into Alberta's withholding of pension survey data

Postmedia and Finance Minister Nate Horner were served with notice of an investigation by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) It follows a complaint made by Postmedia to the OIPC on May 7 of last year .
Last December , the commissioner opened an investigation into TBF ’s response to a request for the pension survey data made on Jan. 10, 2024 , which was returned a month later with 400 pages of entirely redacted records.
