Andrew Kamanga was granted a third term in office after eight nominees were controversially disqualified from standing against him in elections scheduled for next month .
Kamanga succeeded Kalusha Bwalya , one of the few surviving members of the 1993 squad, as president of the Football Association of Zambia ( Faz ) in 2016 .
Eight nominees had to pass integrity test and have five years ’ experience in a Faz leadership position.
Faz president Andrew Kamanga was declared the winner unopposed.
