Sidekick is an AI-powered “magic import” feature that can turn emails, photos, flyers, spreadsheets, and the like into calendar entries, recipes, and to-do lists with a few taps.

It can import multiple online calendars from Google , Outlook , iCloud , and then color-code them on a big screen where the whole family can see what’s on their plate.

An optional $ 39 annual Skylight Plus subscription lets you use that big screen as a digital photo frame (which the company also makes).

Sidekick is a godsend for multi-event entries that are the bane of most parents’ organizational life.

It took a one -page flyer of my son’s ball crew schedule for a nine-day tennis tournament and parsed all the information into the correct dates and events, even adding the location.

Other AI tools with similar calendar-importing abilities failed to work as well as Sidekick.
