Toyota confirms order for EV batteries from Ultium Cells plant in Delta Township

Toyota confirms it will transfer its order for vehicle batteries to a Lansing area plant that GM is exiting.
GM said in December it would sell back its investment in the $2.6 billion Ultium Cells plant in Delta Township .
The companies have two U.S. battery plants operating in Ohio and Tennessee .
