'Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii' review: A nautical delight

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is not only one of the most literally named video games of all time; it’s also a lot of fun.

Thanks to excellent combat and an even-by-series-standards ridiculous and irreverent tone, the game is almost guaranteed to put a smile on your face for the 20 hours or so it takes to finish it.

This is a spin-off game with action combat that should satisfy people who maybe aren’t as into the turn-based fights in the newer mainline entries.

The side stories are as charming and funny as ever, all the crew members you can recruit are certified weirdos and freaks, and you can do karaoke.

This is probably the most I’ve ever enjoyed action combat in any Yakuza game.
