Windsor MPs plan to stress damage of tariffs to Americans in Washington trip

66% Informative
Windsor MP Irek Kusmierczyk and MP Brian Masse speak out at Flag Day celebration.
They plan to meet with U.S. officials in Washington in the coming weeks to explain to Americans the damage caused by tariffs.
Masse wants the Canadian government to “go on the offence’s” procurement policies.
Restoring rebates for EV vehicles would help Canadian -made cars be sold across the country, he says.
“The president of the United States must know that he is damaging that relationship, and that Canadians will not forget this is a betrayal.” Relationships are being damaged even at the personal level, Kusmierczyk said. “I have family and friends in the United States , and something’s changed. It’s changing, and we’re seeing it.” [email protected].
