Windsor celebrates Flag Day with downtown gathering at 5 p.m.

The City of Windsor is partnering with the Downtown Windsor Improvement Association and the Windsor Parade Corp. for “ CANADA UNITED a day filled with community, patriotism and celebration,” a release from the city says.
The event will feature free Canadian flags to wave in honour of the 60th anniversary of Canada ’s flag.
Participants may then visit downtown establishments to watch Team Canada take on the U.S. in the Four Nations Face-Off.
