B.C. Family Day 2025: Things to do in Metro Vancouver over the long weekend

This year ’s Family Day falls on Monday, Feb. 17 .
Check your local community centres for free programming such as drop-in skating, swimming or activities for kids.
The Museum of Vancouver and the Vancouver Maritime Museum , both in Vanier Park , will be offering by-donation entry.
Family Day Weekend in Surrey , West Vancouver and Coquitlam are free.
Surrey Family Day weekend includes free public swim, gymnastics drop-ins, and public skate.
Grouse Mountain offers free admission and lift tickets for kids 12 and under all weekend long.
Family Day at the Museum of Surrey will be free at various locations.
Port Coquitlam residents are invited to register for Family Day programs on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 8 a.m. , while the general public can register on Friday , February 14 .
Family Day in Port Moody is February 16 and February 15 at the Recreation Complex ( 300 Ioco Rd., Port Moody ) All activities are free.
