Margaret Chappell , 93 , says her house is consumed by damp, mould and crumbling plaster.
She and 153 neighbours in Chilton , County Durham , had solid wall insulation fitted in 2022 .
Government found a 'serious systemic' issue in homes fitted with insulation under two of its own schemes.
But that won't include 93-year-old whose work was done in 2021 .
Government says it will keep other schemes under review but residents say work was carried out too long ago.
Durham County Council said work had been signed off by council and Tolent before it went bust.
Council said issues raised with Tolent were not communicated to council due to company's collapse.
