Israel's fatal shooting of a pregnant Palestinian woman raises fears in the West Bank

Sondos Shalabi , 23 , was eight months pregnant with her first child.
Shalabi and her husband fled their home in the early hours of Sunday as Israeli security forces closed in on Nur Shams refugee camp.
The Israeli army said a wanted militant was in her house, compelling Israeli forces to break down the door.
At least 905 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since Hamas ' Oct. 7, 2023 , attack triggered the war in Gaza , Palestinian Health Ministry says.
Yazan Shula was unconscious and in critical condition, Yazan remains on life support at a hospital.
Her fetus also did not survive the shooting.
The Red Cross had secured approval from the Israeli military to allow medics inside the camp.
The Israeli military did not respond to a request for comment on why soldiers blocked ambulances.
