What if the Airbus A400M was a passenger plane?
47% Informative
The Airbus A400M Atlas is a military transport juggernaut that can carry tanks, cross oceans, and land anywhere.
Today , we'll be turning this plane into a passenger aircraft worthy of the likes of Emirates or Frontier .
The aircraft has a length of 45.1 metres and a wingspan of 42.4 metres .
It can also carry 37,000 kilograms , which should be plenty as the average American weighs around 85 kilos.
The Airbus A400M could open up routes to places that don't even have airports, let alone a landing strip.
The plane has an impressive range, and it would be perfect for the islands in the South Pacific or long routes across archipelagos like Indonesia and the Philippines that both have vast populations that need to travel.
Plus, there's also the question of military technology being handed over to, say, civil operators who then might fly that plane over to other nations who would be very interested to have a sticky beak at the latest and greatest Airbus military aircraft. That's one of the reasons why we may never see AB2 or a stealth aircraft turned into a private jet, which is actually a pretty fantastic idea and something I think maybe we'll see in the next found and explained video. So let me know down in the comments if you want to see that as well..
