49% Informative

This is a gentle way to ease you into your day, suitable for all experience levels.

With yin yoga , we're holding passive poses for an extended period of time.

Each pose will be held for about two to 2 1/2 minutes or so.

You're encouraged to relax your body, to let go of muscular effort, and to just let gravity do the work for you.

This is truly meant to be a practice about the journey rather than some imagined destination.

The longer you're in this forward fold, the more you might notice that your head and your chest are able to relax a little more and inch their way closer to the ground.

We'll close by chanting Om one time.
