France used to stand out from its European neighbours for the high number of children born per woman during her child-bearing years.
But fertility rates have recently declined across France , and Colomiers has seen one of the biggest falls - 31% since 2018 .
President Emmanuel Macron called for a "demographic rearmament" with new reforms.
Farid Achezegag, a sculptor, and Marion Savy , a teacher, live with their 10-year-old daughter Maelle .
Farid 's parents were Algerian immigrants, but he does not want to go down the same path.
"Your relationship with children in a big family is not the same," he says.
