Qualcomm's Orion processor, which has been named as Snapdragon X Elite for many months now, has been announced.
Qualcomm's X Elite will be used in what they call PCs and what what we call are Windows laptops running on ARM ARM.
There are 12 cores inside X Elite and two of these cores can boost up to 4.3 giga access to Fast Fast Fast .
Fast memory access is very important to Snapdragon X , and in the first the memory will be very fast.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon X X Elite is a 12 core processor with a base speed of 3.8 gigahertz.
The X Plus is a 10 core processor running at 3.4 gig ahertz, while the X Plus has A10 core processor.
Kit Guru is with Qualcomm at the Gerkin in London and we're looking at some laptops running the X Elite , which is the 12 core product.
Qualcomm claims to be ahead of both Intel and AMD in terms of performance and power draw.
