The Green Line is back on track. So what happens now?

76% Informative
Council votes to partner with the province to continue advancing the Green Line LRT project.
The city will submit an updated business case to the Alberta government by Feb. 14 .
The federal government previously committed $1.53 billion to the project through ICIP.
If the project’s proposed scope and alignment has changed, federal government officials have said they would need to vet the revised business case.
The Alberta government’s proposed alignment removed an underground station at Eau Claire , with Premier Danielle Smith suggesting it would cost an extra $400 million to extend the downtown alignment that far.
The CCA added it calls on both the city and province to ensure a downtown solution that includes connectivity to the north side of the Bow River .
Smith said she was pleased to see council's approval as it means construction can start this year .
