Watch Kit Guru's unboxing of the Razor Chromer Hardware Development Kit
39% Informative
Kit Guru takes a look at the Razor Chromer Hardware Development Kit and the additional light pack that you purchased separately.
Barney from Kit Guru unboxed the kit and explains how to set up the LED LED light.
The LED module is designed to connect the LED to your computer so you can control it with the Chroma software.
It retails for around 80 lbs for the Razor HDK itself and an extra 30 for the additional lighting kit.
The LED strips and the HDK module seems to hold in place really well and it's nice and strong.
The adhesive provided on the LED strips is nice and it also doesn't leave behind any residue if you ever need to peel it off.
The Razer HDK currently uses the Sign Three software which only supports a limited number of peripherals.
Chroma Studio lets you create and edit your own lighting effects.
Overall they are a nice bit of kit, but they are expensive.
They are just something that's there to look pretty.
