North Korea takes wait-and-see approach toward Donald Trump

North Korea held a two-day meeting of the Supreme People's Assembly in Pyongyang on Thursday .
The meeting made no mention of any position towards the new US government under President Donald Trump .
Analysts suggest that Kim Jong Un may be biding his time and waiting for Trump to make an opening move.
The North is in a significantly better economic and military situation after signing agreements with Russia .
