Buy a house when you can easily afford the payments for the life of the mortgage, regardless of interest rate and house price.

Don't buy the most house you are approved for, buy a house that makes you happy because you aren't holding the mortgage for the rest of your life.

Buy a 15 year mortgage instead of what you can afford on a 30 year mortgage.

A home is more than just an investment, it's a place where you create lifelong memories.
