Calgary Board of Education is offering two years of credit monitoring and identity protection to families affected by a cyberattack on PowerSchool .
The data breach, which took place on Dec. 22 , compromised the information of thousands of school staff and students in Alberta and across the country.
CBE has indicated that the breach so far includes names, birthdates, addresses and phone numbers of affected families.
