Garmin Fenix 8 is the Joey Chestnut of watch-eating.

It's the most versatile sports watch ever made and does its job exceptionally well.

There are a few different models of the watch, but all share some basic features.

Up top is an LED flashlight, underneath is Garmin 's sensor suite, featuring a heart rate monitor, pulse oximeter, thermometer, etc. It can also take ECG readings (a feature only available in the U.S. ).

For activity tracking, itâs absolutely superb.

Garmin Fenix 8 tracks runs, hikes, cardio, strength training, swimming, surfing, snowboarding, and freediving.

Garmin Pay will enable you to store a credit card on the watch for tap payments so you can leave your phone at home.

The watch does a nice job of displaying incoming notifications for iPhones and Androids .

The Fenix 8 is the most expensive model in the Fenix line.

The watch has a microphone and is capable of speech recognition.
