Cybertruck Delays: What’s Next for Tesla?

Tesla 's Q1 earnings call for 20/21 happened on Monday, April 26th and we got some good news, some slightly concerning news, and mostly we just didn't get very much news at all.

The Model 3 has now become the best selling premium sedan in the world.

Demand for the Model Y is going to the moon, and the Model S and Model X are still very much behind schedule.

Production of the four 680 battery cell seems to be lagging behind where we hoped that it would be.

Tesla 's request for the Federal Communications Commission to approve a millimeter wave sensor for child protection and anti theft measures has been granted.

This is a radar system inside the cabin of the vehicle that would be monitoring the passengers both while the car is stationary and in motion.

The wave sensor can detect if a child has been left alone in the car, and it would make sure the air conditioning is active to keep the temperature low.
