UK faces urgent call to boost defenses amid Russian rebuild
71% Informative
General Mike Elviss , commander of the British field army, warned that once hostilities cease, a race to rebuild armored forces will commence as nations prepare for the next conflict.
He said that once the guns fall silent in Ukraine , there will be a Russian resurgence, reconstitution, and more collusion with a new axis of aggressors, including China , Iran , and North Korea .
The British army needs hundreds of vehicles, including armored ones and so-called auxiliary vehicles like Land Rovers or fuel tankers, in order to meet its NATO commitments.
