Some 46,000 people invested in a fund to cover future cost of funerals with Safe Hands Plans Ltd.

Administrators said planholders could receive repayments by the end of June .

Denise Hudson , 58 , from Derby , said: "It's a slap in the face" Sandie and David Beatty said they felt "angry, disappointed, sick" when the firm collapsed.

Administrator FRP said the Safe Hands administration case had been "complex" and required extensive legal action.
