Tesla Reveals New Battery Technology

The European Union has reportedly approved a new Tesla Model Y variant for production at Giga Berlin that would use Byd's Blade battery cells as its power source.
This would appear to confirm a long standing rumor that Chinese EV maker BYD would supply their proprietary LFP Chemistry Blade battery for use in Tesla vehicles.
No one at Tesla has ever acknowledged this or commented on the deal.
Tesla 's website listing for the Megapack has been updated with new specs.
The energy capacity of the grid scale battery is now at 3.9 MW hours , up from its original spec of 3.3 MW hours .
The new energy products are coming this year , according to reports from an internal meeting at Tesla .
