58% Informative
Global News has learned some new things about what was going on upslope from where the Enns lived.
If you follow Battani Creek upstream you’ll find a dam and reservoir that’s been built across the creek.
The area was part of a proposed development called Lions Point Elite Homes , owned by IT entrepreneur Steve Vestergaard .
The province confirms that Vestersgaard had a permit to take water from the creek, but it wasn’t immediately clear if officials had signed off on that dam.
