The U.S. Food and Drug Administration wrapped up 2024 with 50 new drug approvals.
There were several firsts and other notable medications that the agency gave a green light last year .
Many of the FDA approvals were for products from little known public and private companies, such as Allecra Therapeutics and BridgeBio Pharma.
Transcarent CEO Glen Tullman previously helmed Livongo , which was acquired by Teladoc in a 2020 agreement that valued the company at $18.5 billion .
