The Flames have invited 23 players, including a couple on injured reserve, to stay with their mothers.

The trip includes a whale-watching tour, dinner and whale-hunting excursion.

Flames head coach Ryan Huska says the trip is for the players to have a "blast" of fun.

Dustin Wolf : "She’s pretty excited. Those are the luxuries you get for playing in this league and getting to share them with your parents is pretty neat, considering how much they put in to get you to this point" Wolf : “I think they’re going to give a nice boost to the team,” Huberdeau said.
