Kennedy 's anti vaccine stances are well known and deeply troubling for someone who would run the federal agency responsible for protecting the health and well-being of all people living in the United States .

Kennedy is a former head of the HHS that he is now about to be can face confirmation hearings for called it a striking amount of power with the stroke of a pen.

President-elect Trump ran on a platform that his administration would be dominated by people who believed in his worldview, which is dominated by a sense of rabid conspiracy theory.

The danger in that could be terrible. It could be a bunch of cranks pointing to things in the sky that don't exist and giving money to things that matter.

So there's just, there's so many ways for this to go wrong and there's surely people who are currently funded that are links in that chain that really fear that they will no longer be getting federal money. And what happens when that breaks down? Another sort of vector for danger.
