•Edmonton Public Schools staff vote to reject recommendations, striking remains a possibility

Members of CUPE Local 3550 voted 83.6 per cent in favour of rejecting the recommendations in a vote held from Dec. 17 to 19 .
The results are unofficial until approved by the labour relations board.
Edmonton Public Schools said they understand the vote and they remain committed to reaching a deal.
