Columbia Climate School Delegates Reflect on COP29

More than 50,000 people from 200 countries gathered for the 29th U.N. Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP29 ) in Baku , Azerbaijan .

Delegates signed on to an overall climate financing target of at least $1.3 trillion by 2035 .

Columbia Climate School sent a few experts to this year ’s proceedings.

The Climate School appeared on 10 panels at the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change [UNFCCC] and hosted a Climate School event at the UNFCCC pavilion.

M.A. and M.S. students are actively exploring the best ways to share a variety of ideas at COP .
