Universal Orlando ’s new theme park Epic Universe is billed to be the most high-tech, ambitious theme park ever created.

The 750-acre site is two miles south of its current two theme parks, separated by a straight-line road that will enjoy its own bus service, including bus lanes, as part of a $301 million ( about 228 million ) road-improvement scheme.

The first permanent dedicated space for the classic Universal movie monsters, Dracula , the Wolf Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon and Frankenstein 's monster will all be lurking.

The mythical Viking realm from the films How To Train Your Dragon Isle of Berk will be on offer.

Dark Universe is the latest in succession to the family experimentation business, with a torrent of make-believe horror ready to be unleashed on the hapless village of Darkmoor .

Even the main restaurant, Das Stakehaus , is heavily vampire-themed.
