Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has reportedly been approached by President-elect Donald Trump about picking his daughter-in-law Lara Trump for a Senate seat.

Ruben Navarrette : The easy call would seem to be giving Trump what he wants, but it could look like a quid pro quo in which Trump would have exchanged something for the appointment.
