Evan Rain and Judith Saulteaux were arrested over the weekend and charged with first -degree murder.
Outrage grew after leaked surveillance video purporting to show the killing was posted online.
Singh had been on the job for just three days .
Singh is at least the second security guard to die on duty in Edmonton this year .
