China 's BYDBYD is so much ahead of Tesla in China it's almost ridiculous. They have an EV you can buy for $ 10,000 that goes zero to 60 in three seconds . The future of electric vehicles will be made in America . Unlike Tesla , BYD have 100% tariffs on any car export in America .
BYD global exports grew 334% from the previous year to 242,765 vehicles.
In 2024 , they expect that number to be over 500,000 vehicles and in 2025 they aim to export 1,000,000 cars.
In Australia , China has seen parabolic growth in car sales over the past couple of years .
Within just 11 months , BYD entered 15 European countries, but there's not a big presence there right now.
China is ahead of the game when it comes to Ev 's in many ways.
Tesla caught on fire, Tesla Model S Plaid burst into flames.
But you have to realize that BYD are the biggest EV seller, and when you're the biggest statistical, you're more likely to get incidents.
